Archive Cabeza 1989's original collection

Part of Yemalla Treasures, this piece is a rare archive denim jacket from the first collection my father designed in 1989. It marks the beginning of a legacy—crafted in France and featuring an original tapestry handmade in Ecuador.

The jacket carries its original GAUCHO label, the name of my father's first denim brand. Some of the buttons are original; others have been thoughtfully replaced with authentic Yemalla buttons, honoring both its history and its evolution.

A subtle factory error on the seam over the tapestry made this piece even more unique. We reinforced it with a denim band to protect the fabric and preserve its character. It’s a piece of history, mended with care—imperfect, precious, and one-of-a-kind.
