Pulpo hand embroidered denim jacket

This jacket is part of a special series from our 2020 production, reimagined to give it new life. Some of the original Ecuadorian tapestries were damaged, but the denim base remained in perfect condition—too beautiful to discard.

During a trip to Ecuador, we collaborated with Lupe, a skilled embroiderer, to help us revive and transform these pieces. For this jacket, I hand-drew an octopus, letting it stretch beyond the usual tapestry frame—reaching toward the front of the garment, where it meets a small fish. The embroidery flows across the surface, breaking the boundaries of structure and inviting movement, imagination, and play.
